About Ovingham And District Under 5s
A Place to Shine
With our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities.
When we expose children to different environments and various learning experiences, we allow them to explore their self-awareness and gain a sense of the world around them. Once they leave Ovingham And District Under 5s, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.
Learning
Activities throughout the day are planned to meet the needs of both children and families following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework. We focus on building on the strengths of each child, taking advantage of every teachable moment.

Outdoor Play
Our outdoor area has been perfect for the children to enjoy the outdoors and enjoy nature. If you have specific questions about day-to-day activities or the program timeline, simply get in touch - one of our team members will be happy to help.

Imaginative Play
Our children are exposed to a range of activities throughout the day. As well as planned activities to focus on particular areas of development we give our children freedom to unleash their creative side. This may be creating artwork and making keepsakes to take home or using their imagination in play with peers.
